FAQ

Sign Painter questions

What's the difference between hand-painted and vinyl lettering?

Hand-painted lettering is brushed on by hand with sign paint, and gold leaf is applied by hand too. Vinyl lettering is cut by machine from adhesive vinyl. Patrick does both and will tell you which fits your window, budget and look.

Can you paint on glass, wood and walls?

Yes. Patrick paints lettering on storefront glass, doors, wood signs and walls, and does gold-leaf lettering on glass.

Do you come out to Calabasas?

Yes. Patrick works on site across the San Fernando Valley, including Calabasas. He'll come look at the spot and give you a free quote.

Do I need a permit in Calabasas?

Calabasas is its own city with its own sign rules, separate from Los Angeles, and many centers there have their own sign guidelines too. Ask Patrick about your sign when you call, and check with the city and your landlord or property manager before a big install.

How do I get a quote?

Call or text Patrick at (818) 300-9590, or email photos of the spot to plotnikp@yahoo.com. Quotes are free.
